- Currently, sales/shipping are limited to Canadian customers however this may change in the future. Shipping & delivery charges are all calculated based on estimates provided by Canada Post/FedEx/UPS. Typically, Tactical Advantage Inc. will pay any additional cost differences between the estimate and actual costs. If there is a shipping cost surplus (the order costs substantially less to ship than the estimate) customers will receive a refund of the difference. In the event of a substantial difference in cost customers will be contacted and informed with the choice to cancel their order at no cost and with no restocking or penalty fees of any kind. Here at Tactical Advantage we hate 'Handling Fees' just as much as you do, however, due to substantial price-hikes introduced by Canada Post and Couriers on packaging materials (a small, cardboard box is now $7!) all orders will automatically be assessed a 6% Packaging Fee. This is strictly to cover the cost of packaging (padded envelopes, boxes, etc) from which no profit is derrived. In order to help keep our shipping rates low, we purchase and use recycled packaging wherever possible and pass the savings on to you, our valued customers. On average, we typically pay 25%-50% more for shipping/packaging than customers are actually charged.
- Delivery times will vary based on product availability, type (some products have shipping restrictions that require additional time) and inventory. Typically instock orders are shipped within 1-3 business days, delivery time is determined by shipping method selected (2-3 days for couriers, 3-5 for Canada Post). Any product not in stock will notify users it is 'On backorder' and may require several additional weeks for delivery depending on availability from suppliers.
- Privacy & Security
- No customer information will be collected or used without your express permission and consent. No sales or marketing information collected will be shared or sold to outside agencies or companies, ever. All payments are processed by PayPal and no credit card/account information is transferred to Tactical Advantage Inc. at any point in time.
- Returns & Replacements
- At Tactical Advantage we want to ensure our customers have a truly excellent service experience. In keeping with this philosophy we will be happy to accept returns and issue a full refund for any item found to be defective and returned to us within 30 days of purchase, however, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Special order or backorder products in excess of $500 will be assessed a 10% restocking fee if cancelled/returned for any reason other than manufacturer defect. Refunds will not be issued for any merchandise that has clearly been damaged by misuse or mishandling. If within 30 days of purchase you are dissatisifed with our products for any other reason please contact Customer Service and we will make every effort to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
- Ordering
- Currently orders can only be accepted and processed online and shipped to Canadian addresses. In order to combat fraud we will not ship to P.O. Boxes or addresses that do not match the registered details of the Credit Card/PayPal account used to make them unless prior arrangements have been made. Additional conditions such as age restrictions or licensing confirmation may also apply to specific types of products such as gun powder, knives or cleaning solvents.
- Payment, Pricing & Promotions
- We accept payments from Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Paypal; all our payments are processed by PayPal and no payment details are released to us. While we strive to provide customers with the lowest prices available in Canada, we reserve the right to make adjustments and corrections where warranted and without notice as necessary.
- Viewing Orders
- Customers who wish to check order details can do so through our site. Additionally, customers with questions or concerns are welcome to contact our Customer Service department for additional assistance.
- Updating Account Information
- Customers are responsible for updating any account information should they change residences, form of payment or any other details required to process orders. Tactical Advantage Inc. will not be held liable for product loss due to incorrect shipping or payment information submitted by customers nor will refunds be issued for same.
